Ford Fiesta 1.0L ecoboost, timing belt replacement as a precaution after customer's request.

Always using original Ford parts for these repairs ro assure the smooth operation.

As can be seen the oil pump strainer is partially blocked that is a common fault and failure if these engines.

Another Vauxhall Crossland X recovered to our garage with the common fault on dash "low oil pressure "

Common fault on the 1.0L &1.2L Puretech engines that have been fitted from all the following brands Citroën-Peugeot-Vauxhall-Opel-Jeep-Lancia-Fiat.

Timing belt (wet belt) deteriorate and clogs the oil pump strainer with result low oil pressure and of you are lucky and be low mph when driving you can save the engine on high mph as motorway 9 out of 10 bottom end of the engine goes.

So my humble advice as an engineer, on time maintenance and quality parts OE or OEM to keep your engine healthy.

Jaguar XF 5L V8 ,customer complained of coolant loss and low coolant on dash ,after investigation and coolant system pressure test found the common issue that was suspected in first place ,the coolant connector pipes under the intake manifold,
Manifold removed and new Original JLR fitted .

As well Customer was happy for us to do a full service to keep everything up to date.

CITROËN C3 AIRCROSS 1.2 2020 mod Timing belt in oil replacement at 38k miles.

As I have mentioned before and shows in the pics before the repair ,other garages and mainly big companies with multiple branches use the cheapest parts ,low quality oil and that have as result to deteriorate the belt in our case and lubricate badly the engine and the result is internal parts to fail or wear earlier.

Use always OE or OEM parts to maintain the quality and the life of the engine.
