The final piece of the puzzle…

This Jaguar XK150S is receiving a handcrafted stainless steel exhaust from Classicfabs to complement extensive fast road cylinder head work, including Piper cams, upgraded valves and seats, taper valve guides with modern seals, and careful porting.

An engine is only as good as the system around it. With the cylinder head now able to breathe more efficiently, a free-flowing exhaust will help unlock the performance, responsiveness and soundtrack that these upgrades deserve.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand at the Bromley Pageant of Motoring this weekend.

As one of Sussex’s best-loved gatherings for classic car enthusiasts, it’s always a pleasure to spend the weekend talking cars, catching up with familiar faces and meeting new owners from across the South. From Jaguars and Aston Martins to MGs, Triumphs and plenty more besides, there was no shortage of wonderful machinery – or great conversations.

Being just down the road from our workshop made it especially rewarding to support such a fantastic local event, and we’re grateful to everyone who took the time to come and say hello.

This Lotus Twin Cam has received a comprehensive rebuild from the ground up, including a new cylinder block, fully machined cylinder head, upgraded Piper high-lift cams, Omega pistons, new Weber carburettors, balanced rotating assembly, and a host of precision engineering work throughout.

A stunning Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II in for careful mechanical attention at Copthorne Classics.

This visit included a full tune-up, alongside replacement of the rear brake pipes and flexible hoses. Corrosion, rather than failure, had made preventative work the sensible route – with the rear suspension unit removed to gain the correct access and ensure the job was carried out properly.

While Jaguar and Aston Martin remain at the heart of what we do, our workshop experience extends across many of Britain’s great luxury and sporting marques – from Rolls-Royce and Jensen to Alvis and beyond.
