A bit about the Bentley Continental GTC:
The convertible version of the Continental GT (the Continental GTC), was first unveiled at the 2006 New York International Auto Show in September 2005 and was actually launched with the very same specification as our car - Silverlake Blue Metallic with Magnolia leather. Complete with Portofino secondary leather and a matching blue hood, all finished off with Chestnut wood trim!
The roof was produced by the very well respected Karmann in Osnabrück, Germany, and still works flawlessly today, 19 years later. The GTC has the same 551bhp W12 twin turbo engine as the GT coupe and Flying Spur. It’s all the more impressive that it shifts from 0-60mph in 4.8 secs. What’s even more stirring is the way this British leviathan overtakes with breezy nonchalance. Apply a small amount of pressure to your right foot, and the six-speed auto takes very little time to drop a gear or two before conspiring with the W12 engine to propel you forward with the utmost haste. The W12 even surprises you with its crackly exhaust note. With the roof up, it can reach a top speed of 195 mph, though with the roof down top speed it drops to a sluggish 189 mph!
