Another E53 X5 in with boost issues, this one was not simple and required extensive diagnostic runs to nail the problem. The workshop also had to step in and replace a worn turbo and faulty egr valve. Should you have issues with dash warning lights you know who to call. Diagnostic scans from as little as £30. Renault Scenic into the garage on Thursday with semi auto gearbox issues causing it to go into limp mode. A full diagnostic scan revealed transmission faults and ecu pre heat faults. All codes cleared and adaptions reset, had the gearbox shifting smooth and at correct rpms.
40 mile test drive and no codes. Result! And as the saying goes. Picture for attention!

BMW E53 X5 in for diagnostic scan today with a parking sensor problem, ISTA diagnostics easily located and tested the fault to the front right inner parking sensor (120cm opposed to all others reading 255cm) There were a few dead ecus shown in red one being the CD changer the other being the Freeview Hybrid TV module. The customer was unaware of the vehicle being equipped with TV. A quick investigation in the boot area confirmed the unit was fitted but dead. Customer is now sourcing the digital module to enable TV.

Saab 93 in on a breakdown, diagnostics has shown injector group B issues, On inspection of the engine ECU (located in the drivers inner wheel well) there were corroded wires, water ingress and chaffed wires. Let the fun begin, ALL looms to be checked
