Olesinski Naval Architect Mike Green and Head of Research and Development Bill Edwards attended Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition (CMDC7) last week.

We were excited to put our ambitious proposal to the assessors, should we be successful and receive the funding Olesinski will be involved in the development, design and naval architecture.

Odyssey becomes reality……..

Princess Yachts has revealed exterior and interior images of the first Odyssey 108 motor yacht at the
Monaco Yacht Show 2026, marking the a return to the 30m-plus yacht market.

Designed around a tri-deck architecture the Odessey features exterior styling, naval architecture,
layout and structural design by Olesinski.

The interior design introduces a new interior collaboration between Olesinski, Princess Yachts and
Harrison Eidsgaard.

The World debut of Cockwells’ Duchy 45 is coming to Southampton International Boat Show 2026!!
Built on a classic hull design from Andrew Wolstenholme, Olesinski supported the project in deck
& interior detailing, deck structures, engine installation and hull structures.

Princess X90 has arrived at Cannes Yachting Festival ahead of the World Premiere next week.

Olesinski designers, structural engineers and naval architects have worked together with Princess
Yachts with from concept to creation and we can’t wait for the X90 to be unveiled and on show.

How did Olesinski optimise the hull design of the Princess X90?

Olesinski routinely use simulation technologies such as computational fluid dynamics
(CFD) as part of our design and optimisation process.

Olesinski generated hundreds of hull forms during the development of the X90 and
were able to perform simulations of the hydrodynamic and aerodynamic behaviour of
our designs in-house. This facilitates sophisticated parametric optimisation of hull
forms and improvements in on-board comfort.

Our Naval Architects validated these refinements in hull design using free running
model testing at Ocean Basin QinetiQ Haslar

The resultant efficiency, performance and speed met our highest expectations.
An independent report by Motor Boat & Yachting indicated that the Princess X90
offers a stable and comfortable ride, enhanced by fin stabilizers. The sea
trial indicated predictable, luxurious handling at a top speed of 26-27 knots.

Spotted in London!

Following launch and sea trials earlier this year, the Olesinski designed Princess X90 ‘superflybridge’ has been seen on the journey from the UK to France………on arrival the X90 will make a World Debut at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival this September……..
