We are Hiring - MOT Tester/Technician

NWC Auto Services Ltd was established in 2015 and is a small, friendly automotive business based on Tanners Lane in Tile Hill Village, Coventry. We have built a loyal customer base over the years and offer a friendly, personal, and high standard of service to all our customers.

We are looking to expand our business and require a full-time technician that is an MOT Tester and fully qualified in repairs and servicing. Part-time opportunities would be discussed for the right candidate.

We work as a team, but you must also be able to act on your own initiative, take responsibility for the quality of your work and maintain accurate records of any work carried out.

1. Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
2. Saturday - 9am - 1pm (on a rota system)
3. Salary £38,000 - £40,000

Mechanic Required

We are looking to hire an experienced, qualified mechanic to join our fast-paced team.

Ideally, you must have a City & Guilds Automotive Level 3 qualification or equivalent and a reasonable amount of experience in vehicle repair and maintenance. You must be able to carry out the following:

1. Inspect and test vehicles to identify/diagnose faults.
2. Servicing and repairs.
3. MOT tests in accordace with the DVSA standards and guidelines - preferred but not essential.
4. Replace clutches and gearboxes.
5. Repair engines and carry out timing belt replacements.

We work as a team, but you must be able to act on your own initiative, take responsibility for the quality of your work and maintain accurate records of any work carried out. Ideally, you must supply your own hand tools, although these will be available in the workshop.

In return we can offer you a free MOT test, discounted parts, holiday entitlement and bank holidays.

Our hours are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm with the possibility of working Saturdays - 9am - 1pm in the future.

Licence/Certification:

1. City & Guilds Automotive or equivalent qualification (preferred).
2. MOT Licence (nominated tester), (preferred but not essential).
3. Driving Licence (essential).

Work authorisation:

1. United Kingdom (essential).

Well we can't believe it's been one year to the day we carried out our first MOT tests after getting dvsa approval. In that time we've completed well over one thousand tests. Thank you to all old and new customers that have trusted us with there vehicles.

Here at Nwc we can now carry out MOT testing on class 4 vehicles on site in our brand new approved test facility. Mot's can be carried out while you wait with a pre booked appointment.
