A Quick Thank You to Everyone (and a Promise to Keep Earning Your Trust)

Hi everyone — I’m Adam and this month marks 9 months since I opened the garage at Home Farm in Berkswell… and I’ve learned a few important lessons.

On paper, there were plenty of reasons it shouldn’t work.

We’re off the beaten track, it was a huge life gamble, and starting a workshop properly (tools, equipment, staff, overheads) is no small thing.

But there was one big reason I believed it could work…

People don’t just want a repair… they want someone they can trust.
A garage that speaks clearly, treats them fairly, and looks after their car like it matters — because for most families, it really does.

What I felt was missing (and what we built instead)…

A lot of garages are busy (understandably), but customers can be left feeling:

- unsure what’s actually wrong
- pressured into decisions
- or like they’re “just another job card”

So we focused on doing the opposite:

- clear explanations (no jargon)
- honest guidance on what needs doing now vs what can wait
- and a genuinely personal service from a small team who cares

The part I didn’t expect…

Home Farm is quiet, and that’s become a bit of a hidden bonus. It’s turned into a little hive of activity, with people enjoying the peaceful surroundings, ample parking, and the option of a generous collection & delivery service when needed.

Local people have been unbelievably kind — the messages, recommendations, and trust you’ve shown us has genuinely made this possible.
