Hours of work: Mon-Thurs 40 Hours per week - Days and Nights available
CAD CAM Automotive (CCA) is an established and growing Automotive Engineering Company who for over 100 year have been involved in the design and development of some of the world's most iconic vehicles.
We require a Metal Finisher who will support the Sheet Metal and Assembly departments working on different types of metal completing the final stages before inspection. They will be required to repair defects such as dents and scratches to meet customer requirements.
Key Tasks - Roles & Responsibilities
= Examining and highlighting defects in the surface of metals such as dents, scratches and paint finish
= Door outer skin finishing
= Repair surface of items to a specified cosmetic finish
= Preparation of final stage before inspection
= Working with quality engineers and supervisors to analysis and eliminate sources and causes of rework
= Ensuring panel quality requirements and checks are carried out as required
= Ensuring all required paperwork / labels are correctly completed and filed as necessary
= Ensuring housekeeping is to the highest standard
= Highlighting and supporting any continuous improvement activities / opportunities
= Working in a safe manner and highlighting any health and safety risks
= Working as part of a team
= Working unsupervised when necessary
= Adapting to new technologies and techniques
= Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the Company’s quality accreditation
= Liaising with other departments, customers and suppliers if required
Candidate Requirements
= Work based experience in metal finishing
= Experience within an manufacturing or automotive company
= Excellent communication skills
= Good verbal and numerical skills
= Strong attention to detail
= Excellent problem solving skills
= Flexibility with hours to meet business needs
