Corby's Lakelands Hospice is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special Summer Bazaar on Sunday 26th July and we're honoured to announce that we'll be there as one of the event's sponsors.

Lakelands does fab work supporting people with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, COPD and advanced heart failure, and their families, so we're very proud to be one of their sponsors. Say hello to the newest member of the System Edström team, Antonio Ferritto. Antonio is our new supply chain manager, tasked with making sure that all parts and products are ordered promptly and in time to fulfil our customer orders. He's an integral part of the squad and brings stacks of experience to the position.

Our colleagues in Ireland and their collaboration with Farizon feature in an article in the latest Fleet Transport magazine.

As the newly appointed commercial vehicle accessory partner for Farizon, Malcolm’s Towbars and System Edström Ireland are playing a key part in the rollout of the new Farizon SV. Ther shiny new Farizon, complete with System Edström livery and racking, features in the magazine along with a profile of the company. Help us raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

On Saturday 1st August, our intrepid team of three – Chris Angel, Harvey Wright and Joff Brown – will take on the North Downs 50 Challenge (25km route) in support of CRY. CRY raises awareness to help prevent young sudden cardiac deaths, offers subsidised screening to young people between the ages of 14 and 35, and supports affected families. We were absolutely delighted to be asked by MV Kelly to sponsor a hole at their recent charity golf day, held at the historic Belfry. Our hole was the famous 14th, on which Nick Faldo memorably scored a hole-in-one in the 1993 Ryder Cup. It was great to see our logo displayed proudly on the tee.

The day helped MV Kelly raise a staggering £325,000 for their chosen charities this year, which really is an outstanding effort. Congratulations to everyone involved in organising the day and thank you to MV Kelly for asking us to get involved.
