New headlight design!

Very proud of the team-effort on this new headlight design. It’ll look great on bike, and match in style with her husband-to-be’s bike .

Designed and prototyped in-house by and myself, machined by Paul and hard-anodized by Metro-plating.

It uses the guts of a Hella .usa light … which is bright enough to give you a tan.

Big shout out to our good friend Ben over in 🇺🇸 who’s helped source two donor Dyna’s and shipped them over to us in 🇬🇧.

Now to start chopping them up ready to get the ELC treatment and added to the family of Dyna’s you guys are keen to see 👀

Two bikes with a shared DNA, but different executions …. Shovels the way like to do them: super functional choppers, nimble, fast and real rippers.

Both of them are almost done. We just got the seats back from Tom , who delivered as always. Luke from is finishing up the paint, and we have another week of work for each bike to push them across the finish.

For Marcia we are building a bike to mirror her (soon to be) husbands bike …. which we build for a show in South Africa. Her bike is custom fit for her, with an in-house build frame, and has a killer drive train with our signature ELC engine (shovel with top-end), 6-in-4 tr**ny and belt drive. Stainless invaders, and tons, and tons of our own bespoke parts. She will also have our carbon tank and fender.

Glens bike is a shovel frame we chopped and lowered with castings. The engine, which is a bigbore stroker, was rebuild by George. The drive and refurbed Harley 4-speed with clutch over complete the drivetrain. His bike has black invaders, and again, tons, and tons of our own parts.

We love building these bikes and are truly blessed with our customer base that allows us to build these bikes.

Last shout out goes to Motorcycle Storehouse , who come through with the parts we don’t have, and always deliver. Great partner to have.

Keep checking in, and you’ll see what these machines will look like in about 2 weeks 👍🏼

The donor bike for our Street Bob Chop came with the cast fender struts cut short.

As that didn’t with our thoughts and design around this bike, we cut the stumps off at the frame and designed new bolt on struts.

Then we went from an initial 3-D print to modifying it several times to make it clear the fender in the back, to a final strong 3-D nylon print to confirm final dimensions.

Final dimension dialed in, onto finishing the aesthetic design, an now we’re in production of the first billet, aluminum machined parts.

When we are happy about final fit of the first aluminum struts, we will be offering these for sale.

El Jefe, our Streetbob Chop, will be converted from EFI to carburetor. This gives us two challenges to deal with: (1) ignition, and (2) control of all the electronics.

For the ignition, we are going to use an Altmann ignition. And the M-unit from is our go to electronic brain for these choppers.

Even though both of these little units are small enough, they still need a hidden spot on the bike to stay out of sight. But they also have to be accessible for all the obvious reasons.

With the strip of the original wiring loom, the electronics panel behind the panel on the left side of the bike is more or less unused.

We chopped out a bunch of plastic dividers, drew up a box that would fit that space, and put our 3-D printer to work. We now have a neat way to hide the new electronics while still being accessible, like on the original Streetbob.
