Conwy is celebrating the 200th anniversary of Thomas Telford’s suspension bridge, one of the oldest of its kind still in existence to date. Attached to Conwy Castle, with design features inspired by the great fortress, Telford’s bridge brought vital trade to North-West Wales after its completion in 1826.
