Corbridge Road Garage is also a registered member of the Motor industry Code Of Practice For Service and Repair. We do a number of things, including Servicing, MOT, Tyres, Exhausts, Clutches, Brakes, Timing Belts, Batteries and Wheel Alignment. We also carry out servicing on brand new vehicles, using genuine parts to comply with the manufacturers warranty.

We had a brilliant time last week at GSF Car Parts' Tech Fest!

It was a fantastic event, though Jacqui did point out the irony of spending her actual birthday looking at car parts. That is true dedication to the job!

We went along with some of our mechanics, and it is safe to say they did not come home empty-handed. They managed to secure quite the haul of goody bag freebies—including sunglasses, sweets, and a rather bright red bucket hat. Jacqui has already claimed the hat and is fully planning on packing it for her next holiday – ha!

In all seriousness, it was a really valuable event for the team. We have invested in some brand-new equipment for the workshop to help keep things running smoothly, so the mechanics are absolutely buzzing to get started with it.

A huge thank you to GSF Car Parts for hosting such a great evening!

If you have visited us recently, you might have spotted this beautiful, handmade wooden truck sitting on our window sill. It has a wonderful local story behind it that we wanted to share.

A few years ago, one of our regular customers used to spend his time handcrafting these incredible wooden vehicles. He sold them through the Consett Glass Gallery, and every single penny he raised was generously donated to the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution).

He made this particular truck especially for us, complete with the Corbridge Road Garage name beautifully detailed on the side. In return, we were absolutely delighted to make a donation to support his fundraising efforts for the RNLI.

The lovely owners of the Consett Glass Gallery have since retired and closed their shop, but this truck remains a proud fixture in our office. It is a fantastic reminder of the talent, kindness, and community spirit of our customers.
