Taking out a paddleboard in the Lake District tomorrow? Make sure you know these paddleboarding tips before you head out so you can enjoy our waters safely.
-Always wear a buoyancy aid when on the water
-Wind direction can change suddenly, be prepared, it can make paddling much harder
-Wear a leash or a strap to stop your paddleboard from floating away
-Look out for large boats turning, they need plenty of room!
-Always pass two ferry lengths to the rear of the car ferry
-Canoe, kayak and paddleboard with someone else, or hire a guide
