Keighley Sea Cadets are a regular customer of ours and recently took delivery of this incredibly low mileage Mk7 Transit 17 Seat minibus - adapted to carry a wheelchair in the rear and now able to be used on a a B license. It joins a smaller and lighter 14 seat example in their fleet supplied previously.

We believe the Mk7 transit platform is the ideal vehicle for this kind of work - with its rugged RWD drivetrain, well proven mechanicals and simple interior… which when combined with good towing capability and in this case a large roof rack ensures the vehicle can accommodate all the necessary kit!

We specialise in sourcing the best of these vehicles (which are becoming increasingly rare, 12 years from end of UK production) re-commissioning them to the highest standards and ensuring they have ability to serve good causes for many more years and thousands of miles.

The latest Mk8 Transit 17 Seat Minibus to arrive into stock is this 2015 model with an incredibly low mileage of 24,233… or exactly 39,000km as shown on the factory fitted digital tachograph!

Having never been used for PSV operation, we’ve just sent the vehicle in for it’s first test - alongside a service, tacho calibration and a full once over from our mechanics to ensure it’s ready to work.

Specified with dashboard Air Conditioning that blows ice cold, and an upgraded head unit with Bluetooth, CD and larger display screen from new - it’s an ideal contract vehicle and is EURO VI (6) complaint for use within a low emissions zone.

We were on hand last night for the first public performance of Bank Of Dave: The Musical at the Lowry Theatre in Salford

Despite us closely following the process from inception, it’s always slightly surreal to see the Boss’s name in lights and a packed auditorium hushed and in waiting - this time the classic ‘Dave vs Goliath’ story is propelled to new heights by a seemingly non-stop succession of original songs that had the audience singing along and laughing throughout - we’re sure it will be a huge success!

With the red carpet coming out on Thursday for the media premiere, you’re sure to see more of Dave on TV and social media over the next few days - but if you can, try and grab a ticket before they sell out across the initial run here or at the Leicester Curve.
