So what’s involved when tuning/remapping modern day vehicles? Well…
Manufacturers send out their cars running more leisurely/lazy software, so that the car can be sold anywhere and everywhere, accept varying grades of fuel and comfortably accept anyone behind the wheel regardless of their age and driving skills. A lot of the time their cars are heavily restricted via software and are massively held back.
We will.....
- work the torque limiters, lambda control, injection quantities and much more, freeing up reserved power and torque.
- give a new and improved throttle position to give a much sharper throttle response.
- optimise the car for UK fuel and our environment.
- remove functions such as factory speed limiters (only ever at customer request).
