Collecting your child from university usually means bringing home far more than laundry. Books, boxes and bedding can quickly fill the car and place extra demands on your tyres. Before you travel, check they are correctly inflated, in good condition and have enough tread to carry everyone home safely and comfortably.

Whether you're a motorbike, scooter, or moped rider it's the same message. Your tyres are the only thing keeping you safe on the road so a monthly tyre check is vital - air pressure, condition, and tread depth.

🚜 Transporting your horse on rural roads?

Remember: rougher terrain + heavier loads = higher tyre stress.

Don’t take chances with old, damaged or mismatched tyres.

We're proud to be supporting the launch of the hashtag campaign and helping raise awareness of the risks associated with part-worn tyres.
While part-worn tyres may appear to offer a cost-saving solution, hidden damage, excessive wear and an unknown history can pose serious safety risks for motorists and other road users.

That's why initiatives like WORN-WARN are so important, helping consumers make informed decisions and understand why tyre safety should always come first.

Congratulations to The Motor Ombudsman, Lindleys Autocentres and everyone involved in bringing this important campaign to life.

Your festival tickets are booked, the tent is packed and the playlist is ready. Before you head off to your next festival or event, make sure your tyres are in good condition and properly inflated. A quick check can help reduce the risk of delays and breakdowns, so the best part of the weekend is the event itself.

Just one week to go until the TyreSafe Annual Briefing 2026.

This year is particularly special as we celebrate 20 years of TyreSafe. Over the past two decades, we have worked alongside industry, enforcement, road safety organisations, government and partners to improve tyre safety awareness and help make roads safer.

On Wednesday 10 June, we will come together at The Belfry to reflect on that journey, explore the challenges and opportunities ahead, and hear from leading voices from across the sector.

With record attendance already confirmed, we are looking forward to welcoming delegates for what promises to be a landmark event in the tyre safety calendar.

There is still time to secure your place:

A part-worn tyre can look like a bargain, but appearances can be deceptive. Unless it has been thoroughly inspected and marked as legal, you may be taking home someone else’s problem. Tyres are your only contact with the road, so safety should always come before saving a few pounds.
