Today we said goodbye to a truly remarkable man.

Gary Stanton, you touched the lives of so many people, and that was clear for everyone to see today. The crematorium was filled beyond capacity, with standing room only, and people lined the pathway outside just to pay their respects. That says everything about the kind of man you were.

Your kindness, humour, friendship and larger-than-life character will never be forgotten. You made an impact that will live on in the memories of everyone who had the privilege of knowing you.

From all of us at Wrights, thank you for everything. You will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Rest in peace, Gary.

See you when we see you... and we'll always hear your favourite words echoing in our heads...

Huge thanks to Abbot Interiors Bathrooms for coming to the rescue when our office toilets decided they no longer wanted to be team players! 🚽💥

What started as a headache for us was sorted quickly, professionally, and with zero fuss by the team at Abbot Interiors. The toilets are back in action, the office morale has improved dramatically, and we've managed to avoid having to issue hard hats and hazard warnings for bathroom visits! 😂

A huge thank you to Brian Currie Ltd for putting on an absolutely fantastic Truck Takeover weekend! 🚛🎉

Where else can you watch jaw-dropping stunt shows, monster trucks tearing up the arena, recovery truck demonstrations, truck pulling, welly wanging, and enough kids' entertainment to keep the little ones smiling all day long? 😆

It was also brilliant to see such an incredible variety of trucks and equipment on display, showcasing the hard work and professionalism of so many companies across the industry.

A weekend packed with diesel, horsepower, laughter, mud, and memories. What more could you ask for? 🚚💨

A bit of everything, a lot of laughs, and plenty of truck-loving fun! 👏🚛

A great time was had by all, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!

We’re a long-established, family-run business looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Mechanic to join our friendly workshop team — where hard work, good banter, and quality workmanship all come as standard.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing HGVs, PSVs, and Vans.
• Carrying out maintenance and repairs to keep vehicles safe, roadworthy, and reliable.
• Using your diagnostic skills to identify faults efficiently and effectively.
• Assisting with breakdowns and urgent repairs when needed.
• Working as part of a team.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has proven experience working on HGVs, PSVs, or Vans.
• Has strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Takes pride in producing high-quality work.
• Can work independently as well as part of a team.
• Holds a Class 1 or Class 2 licence (advantageous but not essential).
• Knows their way around a toolbox better than most people know their own kitchen drawers.

🎉🚛 Huge congratulations to our very own grease-stained hero, Kieran, for passing his Class 1 test this week! 💪

From turning spanners to now turning the wheels of the big rigs, he’s officially upgraded from “just good with tools” to “good with EVERYTHING on the road… and still happy to get his hands dirty in the workshop!”

And now it’s Kieran’s turn to make the cuppas… just remember, we’re expecting a nice one! ☕😂
