This Mitsubishi Sh**un Sport was gorgeous!
This is a business and to say absolutely everything goes smoothly 100% of the time would be a lie, I'm not about that - Integrity is part of my core values.
This Sh**un went through our full inspection, preparation and service. When I brought it back from prep, double checked the ancillaries, all felt good and the air con seemed cold enough. (the weather wasn't overly hot, so cold felt cold.
Simon came and test drove the car (on a hotter day) and it was noted the cold air was cool, but not ice cold. Simon opted for delivery, so before I delivered the vehicle, it went in for an air con regas, including a check for major leaks, all good, nice and icey cold, delivery complete!
Simon had the car for a week or two and noted the air con was a LOT colder initially, but had faded back to cool 😭 Now this is where MOST garages would have fobbed him off, but Castle Motor Hub isn't most garages.
The car went in for an in depth check, 3 pinhole minor leaks were located, low and behold the parts were not available in the UK ☠️ Just what we all wanted to hear.
We managed to obtain some parts from Japan and get them sent down to Simons local garage for replacement and a re-gas.
Thankfully it was all done at an acceptable pace and Simon has managed to enjoy the summer without having to deal with an oven-like car, phew 🤘
