On Saturday 5th September, just under 60 members of the James Alpe team, along with family members, came together for a very special charity walk in memory of our much-loved colleague and dear friend who we sadly lost. ❤️

Starting in Barley, we took on a challenging 7.5-mile route over the Pendle Hill Steps to the Trig Point, before continuing through Downham and Chatburn and finishing in Clitheroe — around four hours of walking, plenty of hills, tired legs and, most importantly, lots of support for one another along the way.

The day was about much more than completing the walk. It was a reminder of the community we have built at James Alpe and the friendships that go far beyond simply working together.

To see so many colleagues and their families give up their Saturday, encourage each other through the tougher parts of the route and come together in memory of someone who meant so much to us was incredibly special.
We’re also incredibly proud that, thanks to everyone who took part, donated and supported us, £1,010.00 was raised for The Brain Tumour Charity, making an already special day even more worthwhile.

Our friend and colleague Simon remains very much a part of the James Alpe family. Saturday gave us another opportunity to share stories, have a few laughs, remember the good times and create some new memories together in his honour.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and supported the walk. It was a challenging day, but one that showed exactly what being part of the James Alpe team is all about, friendship, community and being there for one another.

A great day, for a great cause, in memory of a great friend who will never be forgotten. ❤️

🚗 Another Audit Season, Another Fantastic Result! 👏

It’s been a busy few months at James Alpe Accident Repair Centre, and we’re incredibly proud to have successfully passed our latest manufacturer audits with flying colours! 🎉

With 34 manufacturer approvals, maintaining the high standards required by our manufacturer partners is a huge team effort.

Recently, the team successfully completed audits for Honda, Mazda and Suzuki, before also achieving an excellent result in our latest BSI inspection. ✅

These audits are about much more than ticking a box. They demonstrate the quality of our repairs, our investment in the latest equipment and training, and the robust processes we have in place across the business.

As Managing Director Lee Shaw says:

“I’m incredibly proud of the team and the commitment they continue to show. We’re not simply looking to maintain the approvals we have; we’re continuing to develop and grow.”

And we’re not stopping there…

36 is the target by the end of the year!

🎉 WE’RE FINALISTS! 🎉

And we couldn’t be prouder of the recognition for our team — especially Joseph Cooper, one of our apprentices, who has been named a finalist for the Bob Linwood Apprentice of the Year Award. 👏🔧

A huge congratulations to our five newly qualified apprentices!

Today, we're incredibly proud to celebrate five members of the James Alpe Accident Repair Centre team who have successfully completed their three-year apprenticeship programmes – and every one of them has passed with flying colours!

Mckenzie Counsell – Qualified in Paint
Lucas Sears – Qualified in MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim)

Over the past three years, each of them has demonstrated exceptional dedication, resilience and a real passion for developing their skills. Their commitment to learning and determination to succeed has been outstanding, and this achievement is thoroughly deserved.

We are extremely excited to share our recent news.

James Alpe Ltd are proud to have been awarded the Central Region Stellantis 'Stellar' Accident Repairer Award 2026.

Now in its third year, the Stellantis Stellar Awards recognise the very best Accident Repair Centres within the Stellantis Multi-Brand Network. The award celebrates businesses that consistently demonstrate exceptional standards, performance and commitment to the Accident Repair Programme.

Our centre was selected by our Regional Bodyshop Development Manager and the Stellantis Accident Repair Programme Management Team in recognition of our outstanding contribution to the network.

Paul Glover - Network Manager at Stellantis Accident Repair Programme commented, "We have a fantastic network of accident repairers in our Multi-Brand Programme, and it's important that we recognise the top performers in this new and innovative way. They should be very proud of this achievement."

James Alpe commented after receiving the award,
