An Exciting opportunity available to join a Small Family run MOT Testing Station and Car Repair Garage who are looking for multiple Vehicle Technicians. The Roles Include:

Performing diagnostic testing to identify faults

Carrying out servicing and repairs on a variety of car makes and models

Maintaining a safe and productive work environment

MOT testing (preferred but not essential)

Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and thoroughly

Notifying the customer of any Remedial Work or advisories as necessary

We hope you are all keeping well and coping with these very strange times.

In line with the governments advice on restarting the economy we re-opened our doors for business on Monday 11th May with a reduced staffing level and measures in place to allow adherence to non contact/social distancing.

We are monitoring the demand and will return to full capacity as and when the situation requires...

TWEED ROAD MOTORS. REF COVID 19........ we have had communication today from DVSA with clarification about MOT’s for LIGHT VEHICLES, cars vans & motorcycles. MOT’s expiring BEFORE 30th March 2020 MUST BE MOT’d..... MOT’s expiring AFTER 30th MARCH 2020 WILL BE granted a SIX MONTH extension period.

PLEASE SEE DVSA WEB SITE FOR FULL EXPLANATION !!

IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT WE HAVE TAKEN THE DECISION IN VIEW OF THE GOVERNMENTS ADVICE TO CLOSE OUR DOORS ON FRIDAY THIS WEEK 27/3/2020.

WE WILL CLOSE INITIALLY FOR A FOURTEEN DAY PERIOD & REVIEW THE SITUATION IN LINE WITH ANY FURTHER ADVICE FROM THE GOVERNMENT.

OUR ANSWER MACHINE WILL BE MONITORED DAILY SO PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR QUEERIES YOU MAY HAVE.
