Why is regular car servicing important?

Not sure which service your car needs or how much it is likely to cost?

Petrol and diesel car servicing at William Street Motor Services starts from £135 including VAT.

The exact price depends on your car’s engine size and whether it needs a Bronze, Silver or Gold service.

Engines up to 1200cc

- Bronze service: £135
- Silver service: £175
- Gold service: £290

Engines from 1200cc to 2000cc

- Bronze service: £155
- Silver service: £190
- Gold service: £305

Engines from 2000cc to 3000cc

- Bronze service: £170
- Silver service: £215
- Gold service: £325

Cars with engines from 3000cc to 3500cc are priced individually.

You do not need to work out which service is right for your car before getting in touch.

Send us your registration and current mileage, and we will check the vehicle’s age, engine and maintenance history before confirming the suitable service and price.

We service Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Škoda, Cupra and Mercedes-Benz vehicles, as well as most other makes and models, from our independent garage in Cleethorpes.

All prices include VAT. Should your car need any additional repairs or maintenance, these will be quoted separately and nothing will be carried out without your agreement.

One of the questions we are regularly asked is:

“Can you service my Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Škoda or Cupra without affecting the manufacturer warranty?”

In most cases, the answer is yes. You can normally choose a suitable independent garage to carry out routine servicing while the vehicle remains under warranty, provided the correct requirements are followed.

That means completing the service at the required time or mileage, following the schedule for the specific vehicle, using suitable parts and fluids, and keeping accurate records of the work carried out.

There are also some important differences between a manufacturer warranty, an extended warranty, a service plan and additional benefits such as roadside assistance.

A quick request from the William Street Motor Services team

As our workshop is located on a residential street and space on site is limited, we kindly ask customers to contact reception before bringing a vehicle to us.

This includes unexpected breakdowns and vehicles that have not already been booked in. Speaking to the team first allows us to confirm when we can accept the vehicle and ensure there is space available.

We would also appreciate completed vehicles being collected as promptly as possible once customers have been notified that they are ready.

This helps us minimise disruption for our neighbours and continue providing an efficient service for every customer.
