So today we had a lady with issues with he car starting and running after a full service at a garage she used on click mechanic!
They charged her £380 for a full service and MOT!
Of us that would have been £220
So After inspecting the car and seen the fuel filter had been changed we realised they had used a cheap aftermarket part!
So we removed and fitted a new fuel filter from a high end after market supplier which cured the issue!
But this then also cost her again!
So the best advice is use a local garage !
A fair priced garage!
Someone with knowledge of what best part or brand to use!
So why not call in or call us on 01246 250199
Servicing starts at only £90!!!
Diagnostics £25
New tyres from £45
Welding from £50
Air con re gas from £80
Ask us what we dont do!!!

So today a customer who purchased a battery from us earlier in the year which we fitted has rang to ask for a refund as its developed a fault!
So i took the call and was informed the car wouldn’t start, so she rang a the breakdown service who told her the battery had gone faulty!
She then asked to be towed to the garage which she was then told they would only take her to the closest garage for repair!
They then charged her to supply and fit a new battery!
She then rang us asking to return the battery for a full refund to which i explained that once the breakdown service had identified the problem she should have rang and explained and we would have been happy to go to her with a replacement at no charge! She then continued to argue that we should refund, but as i explained us like every garage buy parts from a local supplier and fit, the warranty comes from them direct but its on a replacement basis!
She was very angry and upset but due to her own fault by not giving us a call in the first instance!
Please please please if your car or van has been in for a repair and develops the fault again or any new fault please call us so we can resolve the issue without having to spend more of your hard earned cash on warrantied repairs!
Thanks Bridge street diagnostics
