Join us at EDGE Choi Kwang Do for a practical and empowering Women’s Self-Defence Workshop, designed to give women the knowledge, skills and confidence to better protect themselves in everyday situations.

The workshop will cover:

You don’t need any previous martial arts or self-defence experience — the workshop is suitable for beginners and all fitness levels.

This is about more than learning how to fight. It’s about awareness, confidence, prevention and knowing what to do when it matters.

It's been quite a journey, and it certainly hasn't always been easy. You've worked so hard to overcome those test-day nerves, and today you proved what I've known all along – you're a brilliant, safe driver.

I've known you so long, so seeing you reach this milestone makes today even more special. It's been an absolute pleasure helping you on the final part of the journey to getting your licence.

I'm so pleased to have been invited by AB-Drive-Anchor Clacton Driving School to take part in what is shaping up to be a fantastic community event! 🚗🚴🚒

If you're ready to get behind the wheel, why not book a lesson with one of the many driving instructors taking part? I'll be there and would love to see you!

But it's not just about learning to drive. Come along to meet our amazing emergency services, learn how to ride a bike, see the eye-opening child car seat crash test demonstrations, and enjoy all the other activities on offer.

There's something for all ages, whether you're learning a new skill, picking up valuable safety tips, or simply looking for a great family day out.

A new road safety event is coming to Clacton Shopping Village on Friday 21 August, from 9am to 4pm, bringing together driving instructors, emergency services and road safety partners for a day of practical advice, demonstrations and family-friendly activities.👏

Visitors can explore emergency service vehicles, meet road safety professionals, try the child seat crash simulator and even take part in a competition to win £200 worth of driving lessons.

There will also be supervised driving experiences available for young people aged 15+ and nervous beginner drivers aged 17+ in a safe, controlled environment.💚
