He’s been going on at me about doing a post for him, so… I guess it’s about time.

Meet Cole 🤩

Cole is our Trainee Mechanic aka CEO of “I want to make a complaint to HR” every time he’s asked to work 🙄

But, all jokes aside, Cole has been with us for a few weeks now & has got properly stuck in.

As a small team with an extremely high workload, there’s no capacity for being picky with jobs, so Cole has been involved in everything we have had in - from brakes to engine replacements. And… we’re impressed 😉

If you see Cole around, he loves a customer chat as an excuse to stop working… the ‘doing two things at once’ thing is still a work in progress 🫢

An insane start to your career Cole, we’re looking forward to what’s to come 🙏🏼

Drifting, but make it the Scottish edition 😉

Before leaving:

👉 The trailer broke
👉 Ash was unwell
👉 Ash then relied on Kieran’s choice of snacks to get him through the 10+ hour drive (awful choice - Kieran likes fig rolls… no further comment needed…)

By the end of the couple of days, we had:

👉 0 injuries
👉 1 car that’s “tapped” the wall about 6 too many times
👉 Kieran who’s now planning to buy a drift car
👉 Ash who’s been on marketplace since he’s been home searching for his next drift car to build…
👉 And enough adrenaline to last until the next one 😂

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Trainee Mechanic to join our growing team. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who’s passionate about cars and eager to learn.

Duties:

• Vehicle servicing — supporting routine checks, inspections, and basic maintenance.
• Diagnostics — learning how to diagnose.
• Repairs — helping with brakes, tyres and general mechanical work.
• Unit support — keeping our units clean and organised.

What are we looking for?

• A genuine interest in the trade.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to use initiative.
• Basic mechanical understanding is advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
