A day of highs and lows at Thruxton Retro yesterday!
A brilliant qualifying saw Charlie second, Felix 3rd, Tom 5th and Daniel 13th.
Sadly race one got off to a dramatic start when needless contact saw Felix into a high speed spin and heavy contact with the barrier. Damage was heavy meaning he was unable to start race 2. Charlie drove brilliantly all day, fighting for the wins but eventually having to settle for second in both races much to his disgust! A change in front springs saw Tom much happier with his RF90, battles in both races seeing him finish 8th twice, a great effort against much newer machinery. Daniel continues to progress, getting faster each time out, and nobody appreciates and enjoys racing a formula Ford more than he does! Onto Donington Park in two weeks time for the next Super Classic rounds.
