Hi! A quick reminder of a few of the guidelines in place for gala day which we wanted to share with you, to help you have a great afternoon out when the big day arrives!
We're a small, volunteer run event and rely on the goodwill of our brilliant committee for the smooth planning and running of the day - if you have any questions, please find one of us on the field (we'll be wearing hi-vis vests) and we'll do our best to to help you out.
Please bring cash for entry (£2 adults, kids free), fairground rides and food/refreshments (most of the visiting independent stalls will have their own card machines for payment)
Much as we adore our four-legged friends, we're unable to permit dogs on the field, playgrounds or premises. Gala Day is held in/around an operational school who generously allow us to hod the event there every year, and we want to leave it in pristine condition.
There's no on-site parking, so please either walk, use public transport or if you do bring you car, please park considerately in neighbouring streets.
There are a couple of parking spaces near the school building allocated for guests with
disabilities.
If you're taking photos on the day, please respect other people's privacy.
If the committee is alerted to a missing child on the field, we will es**rt the child to the DJ desk, issue an alert on the PA system, and will remain with them until they are reunited with the parent or carer.
Please use the on-site litter bins on the day.
Toilets are available in the school, and we appreciate your help in keeping the facilities in great condition throughout the day.
First Aid is available on site all day.
Thanks very much for your support, we'll see you tomorrow!
