Great day down at Stanford Hall for mini fest . Good to catch up with Lee and his S Works we built for him . Also had a good chat with the guys building the new Classic Mini shells overall very impressed with them , hopefully we will be able to work with the guys and try out some parts on the shell and let you all know our honest opinion.

Marks Studio 2 update . New radius arms zinc coated and built up , boot lid stripped, number plate holes welded up and any signs of rust taken back to bare metal and acid treated before being spot primed. New steering rack built up with new group a track rod ends . Driveshafts and out cv joints prepped and zinc coated. New rear subframe fitted with its mounts and poly bushes along with Smiffy's Bits Ltd - Classic Mini Parts & Accessories full stainless fitting kit , new Goodrich hoses fitted . Front subframe has had the reconditioned lower arms fitted with new poly bushes and new pins , same with the new adjustable tie bars , everything fitted with more Smiffy's fittings. New upper and lower bump stops fitted . Goodrich hoses fitted with new banjo bolt, washers and connector. Both front drive flanges fitted to the new vented discs. Made up both front and back subframe copper brake lines and trial fitted them before they come off for painting . Modified the seat crossmember as mark wishes to have all the cabling for a stereo system fitted in the car so if he decides in the future to fit one everything is already there for him .

Jonny's MPi in with us at the moment, engine and gearbox out so Jim Brindle can work his magic on the box while we sort out all the ball joints , raduis arms and rear bearings .

Johns pink Cooper S Works all done all the brakes and suspension on the passenger side fitted , brake bleeding done , suspension all setup, tracking done , wheel sealing rim refurb done and new yokohama tyres fitted by Wheelrite. New wheel centre caps fitted along with 2 new spot lamps . Already for John to collect .

Cracking well on with Johns pink Cooper S Works. Both side , front and back stripped down . Drivers side all done , new cones , new hi lows , new KYB adjustable shocks , front hubs stripped, cleaned coated and fitted with new Timken bearings , new ball joints , new group a track rod ends , new Goodrich hoses , new Cooper works brake kit . Rear has had new Timken bearings, new kyb adjustable shock , new hi lows and cone , new full mini fin kit including full back plate assembly. Crack on with the other side next week .

Busy week at CWR, Helens Cooper Sport back for first oil change and a couple of jobs , Johns pink Cooper S Works in for major brake and suspension overhaul, and cracking on with refurbishing the running gear for Marks Studio 2.

Johnny's Mpi been in today . Dash all stripped out and full wiring loom installed properly for a new dash cam kit and power feed for auxiliary charging ports . Relocated the mic for the Bluetooth, tidied up some of the other wiring behind the dash and got the dash fitting better .

Marks Studio 2 update . New arches tried on and all the rivnuts fitted , new rivnuts fitted for the cold air vents , shell all lined out and masked up , colour raptor applied in Nordic Blue, demasked and baked off .

Marks Studio 2 update. All the underside now 2k epoxy primed, new floor grommets fitted and all the seam sealing done . Tomorrow will fit all the rivnuts for the new arches and get the shell prepared for the raptor.
