Are you experiencing brake judder?
Brake judder is a fairly common phenomenon, caused usually by warping or corrosion to brake discs. In the case of warping, quite often itβs a recurring theme. Unfortunately due to the root cause not being rectified prior to brake replacement.
At Station Road Garage, we enjoy being Poirot when it comes to braking issues. Using various measuring tools and resurfacing equipment, we can usually sniff out and rectify brake judder 1st time.
Our Bendpak brake lathe is a great tool for skimming warped/corroded discs and bringing them back to as new condition (where the discs have enough remaining material). This is especially useful in cases where discs are very expensive. So Range Rovers, Mercs, Larger BMW, Tesla etc etc. It can often mean retaining original OEM discs too, rather than fitting cheaper aftermarket items. Win win.
