Starfish Hydrotherapy Pool Warm, water hydrotherapy pool in Chippenham open to the public 7 days a week. There are also adjustable changing beds if required.

WELCOME TO THE STARFISH HYDROTHERAPY POOL
The pool officially opened in September 2011 and is a purpose built facility for people with permanent or temporary disabilities and general health issues. It is located alongside St Nicholas School in Chippenham but has it’s own separate entrance with ample free parking for both cars and minibuses. The pool is fully accessible from the car park through to the pool, with a hoist system linking the changing areas, showers and pool. The pool is 8 metres long by 8 metres wide and has a series of wide steps to enter the pool. Its depth ranges from 0.9 – 1.2 metres, enabling visitors who are not confident swimmers to still enjoy the benefits of hydrotherapy. The water temperature is kept at a constant 33°C

Could this be your child’s new swim time? 🏊

Our 20-minute private swimming lessons give one swimmer the full attention of one teacher. Each lesson can be shaped around your child’s confidence, ability and individual swimming goals.

Private lessons cost £27.50 per lesson, with monthly payments, and run during term time at pools in Corsham, Chippenham, Trowbridge and Atworth.

Not every child who struggles in a swimming lesson dislikes swimming. Some simply need a quieter space, more time and their teacher’s full attention.

In a 20-minute 1-to-1 lesson, the pace, activities and support can be shaped around one swimmer. This gives hesitant children room to try, build trust and develop their confidence without feeling rushed to keep up with a group.

New 1-to-1 private swimming lesson spaces are available at First Step Gym in Corsham. 🏊

We have 20-minute lessons on Mondays and Wednesdays, between 6.20pm and 7.20pm.

Each lesson gives your child their teacher’s full attention—whether they are new to the water, building confidence, feeling nervous, or working on a particular swimming skill.
