2017 Vs 2026 Prices!!

We thought we would do a little run down of some prices of affordable investment cars that we listed back in 2017 and what their 2026 value would be roughly today. You don't need to spend a fortune on an investment car and there is usually something for everyone's budget. These car in themselves prove that money in cars can be better than money in a bank.

Its worth noting that in 2017 many of these cars are 90's and were on the cusp of going up in value. If your looking to buy low and sell high over the next 10 years you need to be buying early 00's cars right now.

There is no trackday season anymore, you can trackday all year round until your heart is content. Hard to find another track car for under £10k with this sort of specification. This Astra VXR has just received a fresh forged engine rebuild making 300bhp. Its also fitted with a new helix clutch kit and other upgrades including KW clubsport suspension, K sport big brake kit, half cage, Revolution wheels and BTCC inspired livery. For just two years, Mitsubishi produced the Pajero Evolution for Dakar regulation changes, ending up with under 2700 units. The competition version helped the brand to become the most successful Dakar manufacturer of all time.

They featured Recaro interior and under the wider body sat independent suspension, limited slip differentials and a unique V6 producing nearly 300bhp.

In 1993 Toyota had no clue that 8 years later their 4th Gen Supra would become the poster car for one of the world’s most famous car movies.

Contrary to the theme of that movie this early JDM factory twin turbo manual has retained 90% of its originality. Note that it left factory with no spoiler and rare option embroidered lace seat covers. Not only that but it’s had one UK owner since 1999!

Light recommission inbound whilst retaining its originality. It’s usable mileage and will be well priced. Keep an eye out.

For Sale BMW M20B25 Engine

Engine available from mid September from Garage Bavarian in Somerset. Engine rebuilt 2020, the car then sat for 5 years, I then had Garage Bavarian overhaul it again before I used the car for two days of ice driving, 3 track sessions and a hill climb. Engine was compression checked February 2026 all healthy and dyno’d more recently at 172bhp. All cylinders compression checked around 170psi.

Auxiliary belts | Timing Belts kit Inc | tensioners | Water Pump | Thermostat | Rotor Arm | Full Fluid Service | NGK Spark Plugs | OEM Look Silicone Hose Kit | TDC Sensor | Engine Flushed | Valve Clearances Done | New Intake Boot
