Pride of roaring Lions spotted on Mull! 🎶SOUND UP🎶 for Brett Sims and 3d Motorsport having a sound off with 2 sweet sounding group A engines.👌🏻

Well done Totty Towers Rallying Paul Clayton and Veera for completing your first Mull with only 1 minor incident despite swearing your never going back, (I'll ask you again in a week). 😜

Also congratulations Andy Hardiman and Rally Stig, you drove a blinder to secure your top 50 finish despite having to overcome some issues along the way 💪🏻

Also a mention to Kim Gray and Andy Gray who were on for a mega result if not for nursing some oil pressure issues late on. On merit you were fastest 205 on the Island👌🏻

SS9, How it started, and how it ended! 🙈

Slippy downhill lefthander. Cosmetic damage only crew OK just got beached. Recovery snatched out and we patched him up with the usual cable ties and duct tape and drove back to The Glenforsa Hotel for some scran and a checkover. Will be back out for the night stages. 💪🏻

Don't worry Brett Sims, the fence was rotten so the fluids stayed in and the engine survived! 😜

Another Island, another Epic rally. First time on Mull for us but what an epic atmosphere and the event hasn't even started yet! Theres a buzz in Tobermory this afternoon for scrutineering and all round the Island to be honest!

All credit to 3J Driveline , 4 stages and about 50 road miles on 1 driveshaft, that plated diff put a proper shift in today! Changed the shaft at service and Paul Clayton drove away with the diff still working. 👌🏻

Say goodbye to that annoying clunk...

It's a given with 205 ownership that the rubber coating on your top mount cups probably left the building many years ago, or if you've had your top mounts powder coated you know the rubber is definitely gone and your fresh powder coat probably will be soon too!It's a small thing but one that bothered us for a while so we now have these replacement rubber buffers that fit snuggly over the cup, can be fitted very easily without stripping the whole suspension and stops that occasional contact getting you one step closer to that factory feel.

Replacement rubbers for the top mount anti noise buffers. The top inverted cup of the top mounts came with a rubber coating which is often degraded or missing completely allowing the cup to contact the top mount plate. Scratch built custom loom in progress for this historic eligible 205 GTi rally car we're building to the new challenge spec.

It's rare we get to start from scratch. Modifying/repairing existing looms is a hateful job full of compromises - this, on the other hand, is my happy place...
