A sad day… but an exciting new beginning for Bailey. ❤️
Today marks a bit of a bittersweet moment as Bailey leaves Washngloss and starts the next chapter of his career with Harbour Cars, Donington.
I’ve encouraged Bailey to take this opportunity because the salary being offered is considerably more than I can realistically pay as a small independent business. More importantly, it gives him the opportunity to broaden his knowledge, gain new experience and continue developing his skills within the automotive detailing industry.
Bailey first started working with me during Covid. Whether he caught the detailing bug or simply enjoyed working alongside his legendary dad, I’m not entirely sure! 😂
He took a short break from the business during a quieter period, but as soon as I had the opportunity to bring him back full time, I did.
Since then, he has mastered everything we do at Washngloss and became fully accredited with GTECHNIQ in 2022.
Working alongside has genuinely been one of the best experiences I could have asked for.
Blood really is thicker than water. ❤️
Bailey has been 100% loyal, hardworking, reliable and, most importantly, bloody good fun to have around.
Watching him develop from where he started to the detailer and technician he is today has made me incredibly proud.
Although it’s sad to see him leave Washngloss, I know this is the right move for him and I’m genuinely excited to see where this next chapter takes him.
Go smash it, Bailey. 👊🏻
You’ll always be part of the Washngloss family and hopefully may take over when I hang up my polisher and wash mitts. ❤️
