The ford

Two different customers cars in this week and same issues occurring, one is the Peugeot 1.2 puretec engine and the other is ford 1.0 eco boost both with “wet belt” cambelt, both cars around 10 years old, the Peugeot has done 56000 miles,the ford has done 80000, it’s well known that the belts start to delaminate/break up and block the oil pump pick up causing loss of oil pressure which if left unchecked can cause severe engine damage, we caught these ones before it was too late.
The same design is used in the ford transit 2.0 eco blue.
