Today a customer brought their Porsche 997 to us — asking to retrofit a premium switchable / valved exhaust system, upgrading from the factory‑standard setup.

Busy day here at Autotechnics Chichester, but a rewarding one. We had the pleasure of preparing a Porsche 997 GTS for an upcoming track day at Goodwood.

Work carried out included fitting new gearbox bushes, upgraded braided brake hoses with DOT 5.1 brake fluid, and GT3 brake ducts to enhance performance and reliability on track.

During our inspection, we identified a coolant leak that could have led to serious issues under track conditions. The faulty component was promptly replaced and tested, ensuring the car is now fully prepared and performing as it should.

Ready for Goodwood – with complete peace of mind.
