🚗 Another upgrade completed by Woods Vehicle Services! 📱📸

Today’s job was on a 2013 Hyundai i10, giving the car a nice technology upgrade with the installation of a new Apple CarPlay system and reversing camera.

The new touchscreen system gives the customer easy access to features such as navigation, music, calls and more The newly fitted reversing camera automatically displays on the screen when reverse is selected, making parking and manoeuvring that little bit easier.

The camera was neatly installed at the rear of the vehicle, with the wiring routed away for a clean and tidy finish. 👌

A great way to bring some modern features to an older vehicle without having to change the car!

🔧 **BMW 1 Series – Mobile Rear Light Wiring Repair** 💡

Another mobile repair completed this afternoon by Woods Vehicle Services.

This BMW 1 Series had completely lost all lights on the passenger-side rear light cluster.

🔍 After carrying out electrical diagnostics at the customer's location, I found that the wiring had previously been repaired poorly. This had caused a short circuit, damaging the earth wire further back inside the wiring loom.

🛠️ **Repair carried out:**
• Damaged earth wire traced and renewed
• Previous poor wiring repairs removed
• All damaged wires to the rear light connector repaired
• Connections soldered and protected with heat shrink
• Wiring loom checked and secured
• Rear light cluster fully tested — all lights now working as they should ✅

Another electrical fault successfully diagnosed and repaired at the customer's location, saving them the hassle of getting the vehicle to a garage. 🚗🔧

Today I carried out a centre exhaust section replacement on this Nissan Micra.

The customer required the car repaired urgently, as they rely on it for their delivery work. With the old exhaust section badly corroded, a replacement was fitted to help get them back on the road and back to work as quickly as possible. 🚙💨

The job was completed at the customer’s location, saving them the hassle of getting the vehicle to a garage and helping minimise downtime.
