The Caterham Seven 420R is built for one thing: pure driver engagement.

Developed for Caterham’s competitive motorsport programme, the 420R combines lightweight construction with around 210 bhp from a 2.0-litre Ford Duratec engine. With rear-wheel drive, a six-speed sequential gearbox, limited-slip differential and race-tuned suspension, it delivers the kind of raw feedback and precision that has made the Seven a fixture of club and professional racing.

At just 635 kg including the driver, every steering, braking and throttle input counts.

Standing at the heart of Goodwood Motor Circuit, the Race Control Building has been part of the Circuit’s story since it opened in 1948. Once the operational nerve centre of race days, today its historic character provides a distinctive setting for meetings, private events, filming and hospitality.

Echoing the architectural style of Goodwood’s 1950s heyday, the building remains a striking presence at the Circuit, with vintage signage, classic viewing platforms and uninterrupted sightlines across the start/finish straight and pit lane.

Did you visit the Goodwood Workshop during Revival?

Inside, enthusiasts gathered to admire some of our historic fleet, meet the team behind our experiences, and take part in a little friendly competition.

Visitors took to the simulators for the chance to get behind the wheel of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, one of our Revival Racing Experience cars, and set the fastest lap they could. The quickest lap of the weekend was an impressive 1:35.4!
