We are a small family run business established over 30 years ago. We provide a variety of services which include; tyres for cars 4x4 commercial and agricultural vehicles, 4 wheel laser alignment specialist, exhausts, batteries and balancing.

We are looking for a Full time Tyre Fitter in our busy depot in Wingerworth, Chesterfield.

Duties include the following

Fitting new tyres
Repairing punctures
Ordering in tyres
Fitting and programming of TPMS valves
Wheel alignment
Fitting of car batteries and exhausts
Dealing with members of the public and offering advice on their tyre needs

Being able to work on your own initiative is essential.

Please note Wingerworth Tyres Ltd will be closed this Thursday 23rd September for Chris Musson’s funeral.

Just a quick note to say that Chris’s funeral is 23rd September 2021 at the crematorium at 4.30 pm. Everyone is welcome. Wingerworth Tyres will be closed for the day.

We are sorry to have to annouce that earlier this week Chris Musson died. Many of you will know Chris through your dealings with Wingerworth Tyres. We are all devastated and he has left a massive hole in our lives and business. We will all miss him so dearly.

As you are aware the Prime Minister has announced the end of COVID restrictions from Monday 19 July. We at Wingerworth Tyres Ltd will be keeping our procedures in place. This means no public access to the building including our small office. Hand sanitiser is used before and after any payment is made and the card machine is cleaned down after use. We will also continue with masks where necessary. Some of our staff are still awaiting their second jab and our Saturday lad is too young to be able to get a vaccine. It is safer for everyone to continue to work outside. Thank you for your support.

I am very pleased to say we now have all staff back from furlough. We are therefore operating as almost normal. Week days 8.00 to 5,30 pm and Saturdays 7.09 til 2.00 pm. Just Sunday’s we are still closed until further notice. Pop to see us with your tyre and wheel alignment needs.

Following the government advice we have two members of staff back at work from today. This means we are now able to do wheel alignments again. We are asking customers to ring first 01246 203048. We are currently open Mon to Fri 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.

We have had to reduce our hours of work due to the Coronavirus outbreak. We are open Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. Saturdays and Sundays we are closed for the foreseeable future. Thank you
