B&B VAN FLEET UPDATE | What’s new this week?

Electric vans are gaining ground. ⚡️

The latest UK figures show new van registrations rose by 4.8% in September, with electric van registrations reaching a record 4,832 for the month.

Another development worth watching: the Volvo EX30 Cargo has qualified for a £2,500 Government Zero Emission Van Grant, bringing its advertised on-the-road price to £33,529. It offers up to 1,000 litres of load space and a payload of up to 390kg.

What does this mean for fleet operators?

🎾 Team B&B Vehicle Contracts Limited were delighted to be involved in the 24-Hour Padel-a-thon at Play Padel Sheffield!

The event kicked off Friday at 6pm and is raising money for B:Friend, a brilliant charity with a simple but incredibly important mission, to make sure no older person feels like they have no one.

With an amazing team effort led by Andrew Lofthouse, playing through the night, hoping to raise lots of money!

Our very own Tony and Kevin were there bright and early at 8am Saturday morning for our hour on court. Needless to say, there was no trouble with the scoreboard! 😂 But they had a fantastic time and it was brilliant to be part of such a great event.

B&B Vehicle Contracts Ltd are incredibly proud to be one of the sponsors and to support such a worthwhile cause. A huge well done to everyone who has taken part, supported the event and helped make it such a success. After the match they had the wonderful Oliver Burns from Flex Health giving the most amazing massages! Thoroughly needed! Highly recommended!

A special thank you to Andrew for all the hard work that has gone into organising everything, and to the whole team at Play Padel Sheffield for putting on such a fantastic event.

It’s been a busy week at some fantastic events! The B&B Vehicle Contracts team had a fantastic day at the Fleet Procure Conference!

Thank you to everyone who organised such an insightful and engaging event. It was great to connect with like-minded professionals across the automotive and fleet industry, share ideas and learn more about Fleet Procure’s direction.

It was great to see Lotus and KGM showing off their amazing product line too.

The focus on innovation and class-leading developments is exciting, particularly how these solutions can help brokers, OEMs and retailers work more efficiently, improve customer experiences and achieve their goals.

A fantastic day at the annual Alphabet GB conference!

It’s always a pleasure to spend time with like-minded people, industry experts and fellow brokers from across the country who share many of the same values, ideas and ambitions that we do at B&B Vehicle Contracts Ltd.

The day was packed with insightful seminars, engaging breakout sessions and some really valuable discussions around the future of our industry and how we can continue to deliver the very best service to our customers.

We were also treated to a fantastic lunch at The Barnsdale, followed by a cruise across the beautiful Rutland Water - a great opportunity to relax, catch up and enjoy some time away from the office.

After a little time to freshen up, the evening continued with a fantastic meal, a few drinks and plenty of laughs - always a great way to round off a busy and enjoyable day.

A big thank you to the whole Alphabet GB Limited team for putting together such a fantastic event and for the continued support and partnership throughout the year.

It was great to see so many familiar faces and make some new connections along the way.

Already looking forward to next year!
