Online Bookings! 📖

Online booking is now available via our website - just fill in your vehicle and contact details, select what work is required and a time slot, and you’re automatically booked into the workshop.

Once your first booking is made, an account is setup for you, with login details emailed to you. From here you can amend/cancel bookings, create new bookings, view invoices, authorise work, and pay online 😁

We’re here! All set for Brands Britannia meeting with Classic Sports Car Club - its going to be a scorcher - already 32deg in the paddock🥵

Its officially race car friday - cup200 MK in for alignment, scirocco here for some tweaks and fault finding, and the golf sat looking pretty waiting for the weekend running in.

Its not just race cars we look after - any road going car or van too - servicing, repairs, mot, remapping, clutches, timing belts etc

After spending the bank holiday weekend building a complete new engine, GB Detailing worked his magic today to clean off the scum from 1000miles on the back of a trailer, and a weekend thrashing around Spa 🤣

Always amazes me how the colour changes when its squeaky clean!

First lap race 2……started so well, but went downhill fast 🤣 half way through lap 1 water temps started rising (check out the old school turning the heaters on!)

Onto lap 2 and the temps rose rapidly, along with a horrific noise…….so called it quits and limped home

Back at the workshop, engine stripped, and found more damage than the original guess at track of a cracked head:

•In total 4 cracks, through valve seats

•A massively warped area between cylinders 1&2

•And, as a nice surprise - a melted piston - which will have occurred at Donington last month when there was fuelling problems.

So…….3 weeks to Brands Hatch, and a full new impromptu engine build is beginning at the workshop!💪

With what turned out to be a massively poorly engine, a clear lap in the middle of race 1 also tuned out to be the fastest ever for us

So much time still to gain - lots of time lost lifting and coasting trying to cool the sick engine, and buckets of time lost in the corners 🙈 definitely the potential to shave another 7 secs off and get into the 2:39’s

We’ll be back next year stronger and faster!
