🚨 ANOTHER FORD RANGER SAVED JUST IN TIME! 🚨

🔧 Ford Ranger 2.0 EcoBlue Bi-Turbo

This Ranger came into SJM Vehicle Services after developing a loss of vacuum and an oil pressure fault.

On inspection, we found the engine in a very serious condition:

❌ Vacuum pump failure
❌ Loss of vacuum
❌ Oil pressure fault
❌ Timing belt heavily contaminated and breaking down
❌ Severe oil/debris contamination inside the timing belt system

The vehicle had travelled around 30,000 miles since its last service.

We caught this one just in time. Had the vehicle continued to run, the consequences could have been catastrophic — potentially resulting in major engine failure.

⚠️ Coolant Leak? Don’t Ignore It…
This Audi came into the workshop with coolant leaking from the water pump. Left too long, issues like this can lead to overheating and serious engine damage.
To repair the problem we carried out:
🔧 New timing belt kit installed
🔧 New water pump fitted
🔧 Cooling system refilled using a vacuum bleeder to remove airlocks
🔧 Fresh coolant added and full system checks completed
The vehicle is now leak free and back on the road. ✔️
💡 Did you know? On many vehicles the water pump is driven by the timing belt, which is why it’s recommended to replace them together to avoid future costly repairs.
