It’s been quite some time since our last post, but the workshops always got some nice projects coming through.
The latest to have some TLC was Owen Edwards lovely Mini in Lamborghini Balon Pearl white.
Below is a list of the work carried out,
Mot
CV joint replaced (popped out at the MOT omg)
New alloys wheels and studs with a much better offset.
New headlights and steering wheel.
Subframe removed, replaced with new heritage unit after some fresh paint applied.
Adjustable camber brackets fitted along with shiny DSN subframe mounts.
Radius arms cleaned and painted and fitted with new pin kits and knuckles.
New rear brake shoes, cylinders, flexi pipes and fittings.
Minispares Right hand fuel tank installed, not an easy task when the washer bottles in the boot.
Electrical gremlins sorted with new connectors, headlight harness's and some dash rewiring.
Air horns installed,
Fuel gauge issues sorted, yes that is 4 seals taken from within the main tank.
And a general tune up and service.
Finally, front end completely stripped, windscreen out, to have some paint mismatches sorted out, which wasn’t easy on 3 stage pearl paint.
