If you’re browsing and have come across my driver training page 🚙

Just a quick heads up 👀

Anyone thinking about doing lessons with me please plan ahead!
I’m independent and it’s only little ‘owld’ me delivering my manual lessons alongside dealing with enquiries etc etc …
I’m always fully booked and do ask that all students pass theory first!
You may ask why 🤔
Well because of driving test backlog which is still significant ☹️ and in my honest opinion I do believe it helps with the process. I appreciate other instructors may be different but this is my rule and I hope you understand 😊
Ps I don’t work evenings or weekends 😮‍💨
(Only occasionally)

Every pupil who passes their test, every nervous learner who gains confidence and every safe driver you help create is something to be proud of.

When work feels busy, take a moment to reflect on how far you’ve come and the difference you make every single day.

Success isn’t only measured by test passes. It’s measured by the lives you help change along the way.

L👀k who’s just Passed her driving test today at Durham test centre FIRST TIME of asking with ONLY 1 minor fault recorded!
Tudhoe , Spennymoor & Thinford roundabout not a problem for this young lady and in between executing a forward bay park 🔥
Very complimentary feedback from your examiner too 👌
I could literally write an essay on how much I’ve enjoyed coaching you Becca it’s been such a pleasure watching you grow in confidence in particular these last 4/5 weeks..you have certainly put the graft in that’s for sure 💪
I’m going to miss our lessons massively and the craic but you’re ready to fly solo now ⭐️
Becca hasn’t had a single private lesson and I’m so proud of her achievement today.
You’re not going to know yourself now with the freedom and independence but how exciting is that 😁

One of my TOP TIPS when learning to drive – get to know the M.S.P.S.L. routine.

Think of it as your ‘To do List’ ✅

M – Mirror 👀🪞
Check your mirrors before changing speed or direction. Remember mirrors in pairs – interior mirror first, followed by the appropriate door mirror.

S – Signal ➡️
Let other road users know what you're planning to do. Signal clearly and in good time.

P – Position 🚗
Move into the correct position on the road to prepare for your turn.

S – Speed ⚠️
Adjust your speed to suit the situation and select the appropriate gear.

A handy learner tip: walking pace = 1st gear, jogging pace = 2nd gear (when appropriate).

L – Look 👀 (never stare always scan)
Check the road ahead and into the new road. Keep scanning for hazards before, during, and after your turn.

💡 MSPSL won't work exactly the same way at every junction or turn, but it's a brilliant routine to help new drivers build safe habits and confidence behind the wheel.
