MK6 Golf in for a list of repairs ✅

This MK6 Golf came in needing extensive repairs. We carried out the following work:

🔧 Replaced the gearbox due to worn differential bearings, which had caused a major oil leak & wear to 5th gear synchromesh
🔧 Replaced & coded ABS pump due to original pump failure - a very common problem on this platform
🔧 Replaced both front bottom ball joints - MOT failure
🔧 Replaced both front outer CV boots - MOT failure
🔧 Replaced rear coil spring All - MOT failure
🔧 Replaced down pipe exhaust section due to being broken with major leak of exhaust gasses - MOT failure

All work completed within a day to get this Golf back up and running in top condition!

Call out to replace turbocharger on this MK7 Golf GTI ✅
Turbocharger inspected and found to have suffered catastrophic failure. The turbine wheel on the hot (exhaust) side has snapped from the shaft. This has caused the turbocharger to lose boost pressure and become inoperative with heavy white smoke.
Turbo replaced and now back to full power! 💨
