Back at this lovely Ferrari to put all the carbon parts on that got sent away. Transformation is an understatement.

These pictures just don't do it justoce to how well these pieces actually turned out.

So just to finish it off a cheeky valet by a local company, all ready for a 2day event put on by Ferrari.

This x1 had a strange noise and a water leak.
Water pump bearings had exited and the impeller was all broken up.

Had a full service while it was in with us for customer piece of mind

Today's little (massive) job was getting this Ferrari ready for all the carbon bits that are coming and some colour coding on the front bumper.
It's days like this I remember why I do my job. Just to ticker with something out of the ordinary.

Well well, bad main shell after oil pump seized. Not a good day for rebuilding.

Lathe in action. This is what happens when your on a time frame and can't get what you need from suppliers.

So on Friday we had a range rover in for rear brake pipes. Unfortunately there was no locking wheel nut key and beings an expensive car I didn't want to weld the lockers out.

So we went to the lathe to make our own locking wheel nut key out of a socket and some Allen bolts for pins.

It was a success. A video will be uploaded of the lathe in use after this.

There's nothing Better than working on old VW's on a bank holiday

Jetta: gearbox back in and now a clutch that's in one piece how it should be. While it was out we opted for a single mass clutch kit. This is personal preference, in my opinion better than a duel mass and all the years I've ran 1.8t on them I've never had a problem.

Golf: o2a with L*D fitted. Front BC racing coilovers. Inner tie rod and ends with new gaitors. Cable clutch conversion from Ibiza. front pads. New hoses and brake pipes.
All in all coming together nicely for its not.
