❤️ IF I CAN TURN MY LIFE AROUND, SO CAN YOU. ❤️
Today I want to share something a little more personal with you all.
Behind the person you see today, there’s a story that not everyone knows. ❤️
I’m 29 years old, and throughout my life, I’ve faced battles that many people will never see. I live with Asperger’s syndrome, autism, OCD, anxiety, depression and other mental health struggles. Some days have been incredibly difficult, and there have been times when my own mind has been my biggest battle.
I’ve also struggled with addiction in my past, but I made the decision to change my life around, and I’ve been sober since I was 18 years old. 🙏❤️
That’s something I will always be proud of.
I’m not sharing my story for sympathy. I’m sharing it because I want people to understand that no matter where you come from, what you’ve been through or what struggles you face, you can still build a life you’re proud of.
Fast forward to today, and I’ve built my own business, Dibz Detailing, through hard work, determination, sacrifice and a belief that I could make something of myself.
I get to work on incredible cars, meet amazing people and do something I genuinely love. Something that once felt like a dream has become my reality, and I’ll never take that for granted. ❤️
But behind the business, the van, the cars and the smiles, I’m still human. I still have my struggles, my difficult days and battles that people don't always see.
Success doesn't mean you don't struggle. It means you keep going, even when things aren't easy.
If you're reading this and you're battling addiction, anxiety, depression, loneliness or your own mental health, please don't give up on yourself.
You don't need to have everything figured out today. You don't need to compare your journey to anyone else's. Take one step at a time, believe in yourself and remember that your past doesn't have to determine your future.
I'm living proof that life can change. ❤️
If I can turn my life around, stay sober since 18 and build something I'm proud of, then I want you to believe that there's hope for you too.
I'm proud of the person I've become, not because my life is perfect, but because I know how far I've come to get here.
