And on that note im done for the week. 37.5°c outside so you can only imagine how hot the workshop is. Well started early this morning to try and beat this heat. First job in was for AC regassing, next in was a Mercedes CLS in for an auxiliary belt and then to finish off we had a Ford Bmax in for a new thermostat and housing as it was leaking and also a turbo control solenoid. All work carried out and all vehicles now back to their owners. Have a lovely weekend all and hope everyone is enjoying the weather 😀. Few more jobs from this week. Again with the weather this hot Air Conditioning jobs are in think and fast as per usual. Discs, pads and a wheel bearing on a Vauxhall Astra. The wheel bearing was only needed as the previous tyre garage broke a wheel bolt in the hub. We did try and remove it but unfortunately it was seized or cross threaded and wouldn't budge. Last on the list for today was this little FIAT 500 in for its timing belt and waterpump. This customer has just purchased the car so in best practice mode we gave the car a thorough check over and noted a few small things that could create issues in the future but nothing to worry about just yet. Also this customer took advantage of using our BLUE LIGHT DISCOUNT 💙. We have been running this ever since Covid and thought it was a great way to give a little back to our front line saviours. Well this little Honda Jazz came in the other day for an AC regas unfortunately the gas wasn't the problem. Customer rebooted so we could diagnose the fault and we found a broken wire to the AC compressor and the AC compressor clutch relay had burnt out. Wire repaired and a new relay fitted and boom 💥 ice 🧊 cold 🥶 AC ready for these summer hot spells. Please feel free to contact us for a free quotation or for any advice/information you may need. Also today we had in this beautiful 😍 E Class Mercedes for a small service, handbrake fault and new front discs and pads plus front anti roll bar links which were all advised on the last mot. All worked carried out same day and customer back on the road and ready for its next mot. Been another warm day so time to head off and relax with the dogs for the evening.
