We’re expanding at Cold Norton MOT Centre Ltd and looking for a skilled, confident mechanic who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, well-established workshop.

If you take pride in your work, can handle a wide variety of jobs, and don’t need hand-holding — we want to hear from you.

What the job looks like:

* Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
* 1 hour lunch break
* Every other Saturday
* Consistent, steady workflow (we’re booked weeks in advance)

What we’re looking for:

* Solid mechanical experience (not trainee level)
* Ability to diagnose, repair, and work efficiently
* Comfortable with a wide range of vehicles and jobs
* Own tools required
* Someone who can work at a good pace and get the job done properly

What you’ll get:

Your tyres start at around 8-10mm of tread, they lose 20% of their performance until 3mm. Once they get to the 3mm or lower they lose the remaining 80%.
This will mean you loose a majority of your grip through puddles/wet patches when your tyres are 3mm or less and can be extremely dangerous!
It will also significantly impact your braking distance.
