Peter's TR6 CP sports car awaiting it's return to Yorkshire.
Peter first contacted us about having his hood frame repaired and restored as it was bent and very loose. One thing led to another and we ended up supplying and fitting our retrimmed mazda leather seat conversion. We were also able to sort out his Lucas fuel injection by servicing the metering unit and injectors in house, also fitting our throttle linkage control rods.
The car is now transformed, starts and runs as it should and is now sporting a brand new soft top which we fitted for him.

Chris just dropped us a line from the U. S. with these pictures of his incredible TR6 and thought they were definitely worth sharing 👌. We supplied the fuel injection system and according to Chris it is now "running like a top".

Tony sent his pi TR6 down to us from Southport. The spark plugs were black and fuel was leaking from the metering unit side plate rendering the car undriveable.
After our in-house Prestige Injection metering unit overhaul using long life seals and precise calibration, the car now starts first time and runs smoothly with good spark plug colours.
This was an interesting car to work on, largely original showing a documented 70,000 miles.
We thought the sticker in the hard top rear window was very nostalgic. This particular TR is an N plate so one of the last pi TR6s ever made, meaning it was probably only 1 or 2 years old when in attendance at Silverstone in 1977.

Whilst Ian's cherished CR 125 TR6 was in our South Manchester workshop for a major fuel injection system overhaul, we got chatting and he told me that he was never ever going to sell his TR. The reason being it had saved his life even though the car had completely rolled over. Ian managed to climb out of the car without a scratch despite the windscreen frame having totally collapsed. His affection and enthusiasm for the car remains undiminished after 35 years of ownership.
The fuel injection system was showing A - Z of faults and symptoms including faulty wiring, faulty inertia switch, faulty injectors, worn skew gear pins, worn out throttle linkage, perished high pressure hoses, not to mention the old Lucas pump which could barely make 80 PSI.
The car now starts first turn of the key, fires up on 6 cylinders instantly and runs like a watch.
So a massive thanks to you Ian and I hope you manage to keep the car the right way up and continue enjoying your TR to the max.

Petrol injected TR6 ready for collection after a major fuel injection system overhaul.
We fitted a new petrol tank and the Lucas Metering Unit was overhauled in house using our exclusive long life seals and diaphragms. A bespoke fuel calibration was required to match the high lift cam shaft fitted to this engine.
