Not something I really want to be writing but I feel like I need to….

Been to collect a vehicle this morning. Time and fuel, around 30 miles to collect a car. Had been told it had various new parts on the car, and all was original and complete in place. Car was quoted by me well above scrap value due to being told this.

I’ve arrived and the car has been sat well over a year. Every panel and bumpers were either dented or scratched. Obviously dead flat. Doesn’t run. Also the DPF had been cut open and gutted.

Customer not even working with me on these factors to even drop the price e a mere £50 so the loss wasn’t quite as harsh for me and adamant on the price quoted when the vehicle was not even close to how it was described.

So for the first time I think ever I had to leave the car where it was and get on with the rest of my day.

Time waisted. Fuel and everything else but we move on.

Going forward if this happens again and people can’t be transparent with me and work with me, I.e I know people make mistakes and some people aren’t too clued up on vehicles like others. I feel as though I am more than fair with all of my customers and try and give the best I can with everything.

If your like the person above and not willing to work with me if mistakes are made and are understanding of certain situations then I don’t really want to be dealing with you.
