So funny

A distraught woman rushed up to the doctor and asked anxiously, “How is he, doctor? Is he going to be alright?”

The doctor sighed and said, “Well… he’s suffered a serious heart attack and he’s also sustained several bone fractures.”

The woman looked worried and asked, “Can I talk to him?”

The doctor replied, “Not right now, I’m afraid. He’s still unconscious. But if you’d like, I can pass a message along when he wakes up.”

She thought for a moment and said, “Okay… could you ask him if I passed my driving test?”

📢 The rules for booking a practical car driving test are changing.

From 31 March 2026, learner drivers and approved driving instructors (ADIs) will only be able to change a driving test booking up to 2 times.

A change includes:
- changing the date or time
- changing the test centre
- swapping an appointment with another learner

If you’re an ADI, please make sure your pupils only book their test when they’re ready as swapping between pupils will count towards this limit. You can set times when you're available to take your pupils to their driving tests. This stops your pupils from booking tests at times that do not work for you.

👉 When this comes into force, everyone with a driving test booked will have 2 changes available, regardless of how many changes they may have already made.

This change is part of the outcome of our consultation to improve the way driving tests are booked.

Well done today to Chenai on passing her driving test first time and only 3 faults. The examiner commented on a really good drive, and you apologised to the examiner for doing a harsh but really good emergency stop. Well done, you totally deserve your license.

I would like to wish all my followers, past and present pupils, family and friends a very Happy New Year.

2025 wasn’t great for me due to illness.

But I’m fighting fit for 2026, and looking forward to many new pupils.

Anna took her test in August with a colleague and didn’t want a photo, as I was off recovering after an operation.

2 pupils passed on their second test.

7 pupils passed first time.
